聚醚消泡剂到底是什么呢？
聚醚消泡剂主要是氢氧化钾催化作用下，用丙二醇或甘油与环氧丙烷、环氧乙烷等进行聚合制得强力消泡剂。特点是无色斑、易分散、使用方便等优点，适用于绝大多数无硅类消泡剂行业做为消泡及抑泡的需要。

可以在哪些行业上面使用呢？
适用于化学工业（化肥防结块剂、脱碳剂、脱硫剂）、润滑油、切削液、金属清洗（特别是喷淋清洗）、发酵（抗生素、柠檬酸，谷胺酸）、石油开采、及高温强碱强酸条件下抑泡消泡。
它还是我国食品工业推广的消泡剂，尤其在许多国家严格控制硅残留量和禁止使用硅类消泡剂的背景下，聚醚类消泡剂更具有应用价值。被广泛应用与豆制品、奶业、制药、乳制品、饮料、制糖业、大豆蛋白提取、酱醋酿造、烟嘴胶粘剂等食品工业。

在不同的工艺中，应该怎么使用呢？
方法一：添加聚醚消泡剂时，应采用少量多次的原则，虽然这样操作比较繁琐，但是可以降低成本且达到很好的消泡效果。
方法二：可以将聚醚消泡剂同原料和发酵基料一起加热消毒入罐，也可以将其配制成水乳液直接蒸汽消毒后“流加”入罐。
方法三：在配制消泡剂乳液的设备中，有机械搅拌装置，可以使消泡剂充分分散均匀，从而达到理想的消泡效果。

What is a polyether defoamer?
The polyether defoaming agent is a strong defoaming agent prepared by polymerization of propylene glycol or glycerol with epoxy propane and epoxy ethane under the catalysis of potassium hydroxide. It has the advantages of no color spots, easy dispersing and easy to use.

In which industries?
Suitable for chemical industry (fertilizer anti-caking agent, decarburizer, desulfurizer), lubricating oil, cutting fluid, metal cleaning (especially spray cleaning), fermentation (antibiotics, citric acid, glutamic acid), oil extraction, and foam suppression under high temperature and strong alkali and strong acid conditions.
It is also a popular defoaming agent in China's food industry, especially under the background of strict control of silicon residue and prohibition of the use of silicon defoaming agent in many countries, polyether defoaming agent has more application value. It is widely used in soybean products, dairy industry, pharmacy, dairy products, beverage, sugar industry, soy protein extraction, soy vinegar brewing, cigarette holder adhesive and other food industries.

How should it be used in different processes?
Method 1: when adding polyether defoaming agent, the principle should be adopted several times in small quantity. Although this operation is relatively tedious, it can reduce the cost and achieve good defoaming effect.
Method 2: the polyether defoaming agent can be heated and sterilized with the raw material and fermentation substrate, or it can be made into water emulsion and directly steam sterilized after "flow adding" into the tank.
Method 3: in the equipment of preparing the defoaming agent emulsion, there is a mechanical stirring device, which can make the defoaming agent fully dispersed and evenly, thus achieving the ideal defoaming effect.
